balls is vacuum-processed high carbon chromium steel allowing
high quality consistency and long bearing service life.
Material symbol is GCr15.

2. HUB ASSEMBLY MATERIALS:
The materials for the inner rings of wheel hub assembly
and balls is as same as the materials of bearings, Gcr15.

The materials for the wheel hub of wheel hub assembly
is 65Mn, which is equal to SAE1566.

TONE RINGS OF WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY
FKG ABS tone ring's materials are SS-410L, which is a
kind of high quality stainless steel with good corrosion
resistant, good magnetic inductivity and high magnetic
strength. All the tone rings are machined with high preciseness
to ensure proper spacing between the teeth and the sensor.
SPACING BETWEEN THE SENSOR AND THE TONE RING:
Must be <0.7mm; Maintaining the proper spacing between
the sensor and the tone ring is crucial to keep good operation
of the ABS.
SENSORS OF WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY WITH ABS:
FKG has applied an integrated sensor with high quality
especially for Generation 3 wheel hub assembly to eliminate
leak paths into the bearing, thus improving durability
and minimizing the potential handling damage.
CAGES
In general, FKG cages are pressed steel ribbon cages &
pressed steel snap cages for wheel bearing,
wheel hub assembly and A/C bearings, the cages are made
from Nylon 66 with glass fiber.
SHIELDS & SEALS
FKG standard seals are made of oil and wear-resistant
nitrile rubber(NBR) with a sheet steel reinforcement.
SPCC is the standard material for shields we apply.
LUBRICATION
The grease can be applied upon customer's requirements.
In general, Alvania R 2 is used for FKG small ball bearing.
RONEX MP from ESSO Co. and ALVANIA R3 from SHELL are used
for wheel hub bearings.
